Project Goals

Avalon Sign and Design had never needed had a website built for his business. Mike and Elizabeth Terenik (owners) had built an incredible reputation for themselves just through word of mouth, and it has served them well for many years.

As part of their 2007 branding face lift, Mike and Elizabeth decided it was finally time to go online in conjunction with their logo redesign etc.

As creative persons themselves, their first attempt at a web presence was made using the "do it yourself" tools offered by Yahoo!. Yahoo!s tools were unable to craft the distinct presence they were really hoping for.

They also had little more than a week to prepare for a large trade show.

Solution Provided

Sites by Joe set up a static site, designed around their new logo and brochures. The gallery was set up in categories to display all their work using an image light box effect to look through them without having to reload the gallery page which housed many photos.

The site was completed in less than a week and ready in time along with a CD slide show of the work gallery for use at the trade show.
